If you have ever thought you have the skills to care for people and would like the chance to work in a busy hospital setting, then joining us may just be the new job, or career change you are looking for. (Must be available to start before 29th March 2021)

We are searching for caring, compassionate and motivated individuals to join our teams to assist in delivering a high standard of care to our patients.

There is no denying the fact it is hard work, especially at the moment, but if you are up for the challenge, we will teach you the basic skills you will need to get you started and continue to offer you training. Who knows, as you become more confident, you may wish to go on and take up a pathway that leads you to become a Registered Nurse.

As a Training Healthcare Support Worker you will work under the supervision and guidance of registered nurses and other professional staff and be part of a team that nurses very sick patients back to health, or provides care and comfort to those patients at the end of their life. You will undertake training for a Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship Level 2 to ensure you develop the knowledge and skills to work in a range of health care settings and we will give you an intensive weeks training before you start to prepare you.

This opportunity is open to any individual who is 18+ You do not need to have any previous care experience but you do need to show a commitment to wanting to work in the NHS and look after patients. You will need to be able to work some unsocial hours as shifts start early and finish late so a degree of flexibility is required. There may be some night duty too.
