Working alongside experienced engineers, you will:
  • Work with project engineers to deliver technology solutions
  • Code and configure solutions utilising standard tools
  • Develop and prototype conceptual designs
  • Deliver high quality products through techniques such as code review and customer FAT
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the team

We have a new opportunity to join our Systems Engineering team on an apprenticeship programme.

Our busy Systems Engineering team are currently developing software and technology solutions for many premier customers in the Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing industries.

Within this apprenticeship you can expect to be involved in software development across a broad range of Industrial and IT platforms giving you the opportunity to learn and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, as well as helping support the day-to-day operations of the department.

Our ideal applicant will have a passion to forge a career in software and systems development, utilising their technical skills they have cultivated in their life to-date. You will have a problem-solving approach and a curiosity to grasp multiple technical concepts quickly, ensuring a focus on the wider team and business stakeholders in everything you do.

Ideally you already have an appreciation of the main software development tools and techniques, including (but not limited to) coding and application development.

Desired qualifications

  • A Level or Level 3 qualification in computing, mathematics, or physical sciences.
  • Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above, including maths and English.
