What will the apprentice be doing?
Monitor and support the supervision of trade-contractors, labour, plant and material requirements
Assist in receiving and inspecting material deliverieswhen they arrive
Work to the latest programme of works, sign up to the relevant method statements and understand the requirements
Log and resolve any defects found and challenge current methodology by putting forward innovative ideas
Be aware of the impact of design changes
Ensure all site related documentation is kept up to date
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Through day or block release, Skanska will provide support and funding to help you achieve a Level 4 Construction Site Engineering Technician qualification. You will be able to progress onto Level 6 upon completion

Become a fully qualified Assistant Construction Supervisor

Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent 5 subjects including Maths and English (Grade 4 and above) Essential
A Level or equivalent English, Maths, Science preferable (Grade 64 UCAS points) Essential

This is a site based role and applicants should enjoy working outdoors
