An exciting opportunity to work as the AEDS (Adult Eating Disorders Service) Fixed Term or Secondment Specialist Band 6 Mental Health (MH) Practitioner/ Nurse has arisen.The successful candidate will be expected to provide evidence-based Eating Disorders treatment and therapy, working in collaboration with people who use our services to support recovery.

You'll be joining our thriving, happy and well established multi-disciplinary team (MDT), co- located in Guildford and Epsom sites.Your role will be to proactively work alongside the AEDS MDT, to coordinate, plan care, manage a caseload and facilitate individual Eating Disorders treatment and therapy where clinically indicated, following comprehensive assessment.

This is an exciting time to be part of a developing, although well established team, with a number of service transformation projects in progress.You will receive regular clinical and managerial supervision, and have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills through specialist Eating Disorders therapies/ treatment training.

The post is being advertised as a one year Fixed Term or Secondment position, with a view to making it a substantive role in the future.

Please note that all salaries shown are based on whole time of 37.5 hours per week for non-medical roles and 40 hours per week for medical roles, part time roles are pro-rated accordingly.
