A vacancy have arisen for experienced Mechanical/multi skilled engineer to join our Estates maintenance team.

The post holder will work mainly unsupervised undertaking essential repair works and general maintenance activities in healthcare buildings at the request of the Estates Officer (Operations) and carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with Trust procedures.

We require a highly motivated individual to join our team. You will be an apprentice served trades-person, qualified to an appropriate level of competence (minimum City & Guilds level 3 in your core specialist trade, and all round knowledge of building services operation and maintenance).

Previous work in a healthcare environment will be an advantage.

Good communication skills are essential, as is a flexible approach and willingness to undertake further job training as required. You must be numerate and literate with good written and personal skills. Experience of using electronic record keeping systems will also be an advantage.
