Applications are invited from hardworking, innovative and highly motivated people to join a dynamic team on F9. Ward F9 is a 19 bedded unit consisting of trauma and elective case loads across both specialties which includes major head and neck surgery, flap reconstruction and complex airway management. Candidates will have the opportunity to develop their skills in both areas and in particular tracheostomy care.

You will be required to work flexibly in a changing environment, to be confident and approachable. We are looking for health care support workers who are compassionate and caring with an ability to focus on the delivery of high calibre patient centred care. A calm, diplomatic and caring approach and a commitment to provide high quality, safe and effective care is essential.

You will need to have:
  • Level 2 NVQ/Apprenticeship in Health and Care
    · Excellent communication skills - in particular listening skills
    · A friendly, open, empathetic and compassionate communication style
    · A strong ability to engage with patients, visitors and colleagues
    · The ability to work well in a team
