The role will require training on the operation, setting, maintenance and troubleshooting of plastic injection moulding machines. The candidate will also work in the Mould Toolmaking facility to gain a comprehensive understanding of how to make and maintain mould tooling, which will require the use of milling, turning, grinding and CAD/CAM machinery.
It is also required that the candidate will use Solidworks drawing software and assist in the quality control of the manufactured products.

Ideally, we would like someone with drive/ambition who considers themselves a good communicator. We would like someone who is capable of working independently and in a team.
Personal qualities
Desired qualifications
The candidate will require minimum Grade 4/C or equivalent GCSE in maths and English.
Future prospects
Full time post within the engineering department upon completion of the apprenticeship and involvement in other parts of the manufacturing process.
