Salary: National Minimum/Living Wage

Location: Walsall, West Midlands

Full time: 24 month Apprenticeship, 37 hours per week

Look no further, Our client are recruiting an IT Apprentice to be part of their apprenticeship journey and become a great asset to their organisation.

Our client have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join us on an IT Apprenticeship. Your role will role involve supporting colleagues across the business in the use of technology to optimise performance.

Main job responsibilities:

As part of a dedicated team, support colleagues with software applications and a wide range of mobile devices, providing technical advice within a friendly and high paced environment.

To use all the necessary tools available to solve incidents and trouble shoot non routine problems.

To assist new colleagues into the business as part of our onboarding process, maintaining information within the service desk solution, ensuring assets are tracked and recorded.

To analyse incidents to identify trends to reduce repeated incidents.

Our client are looking for:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and achieved a Level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English (grade C or above).

A positive attitude that demonstrates you are self-motivating and accountable.

The ability to use own initiative, managing own time and priorities.

The aptitude to be flexible and responsive to allow a wide range of skills to be developed during the apprenticeship

The ability to work collaboratively with internal colleagues and external organisations/agencies to ensure that individual customer needs are met.

The confidence to challenge current ways of working and make recommendations for improvement.
