Duties will include:
  • Providing direct care and support of children and young people, using therapeutic principles and attachment-aware practice
  • Promoting and participating in activities for all children and young people
  • Participating in the running of the home
  • Offering advice, direct work and mentoring to individual children and young people
  • Assisting with general administration duties
  • Providing support to the young people

The Candidate:

The candidate will have either professional experience working with children in some capacity or have appropriate qualifications along with an understanding of the developmental needs of children and young people in general. You will want to work with children and young people using attachment-aware and trauma-informed approaches. You will possess excellent communication skills have a positive attitude and a compassionate, empathic and caring manner.

Although not essential, a full driving licence would be highly advantageous. You will need to beflexible to work shifts and to sleep-in.
