Job Title: Graduate Business Administrator/E-Commerce Assistant

Location: Leicester

Salary: GBP18,000 - GBP22,000

Type: Full-time, Permanent

An exciting role for an E-Commerce Assistant to join a dynamic business. Working within the Trading department, you will support the E-Commerce Manager in the delivery of the core business strategy. The person fulfilling the role would enjoy challenging situations and have the ability to work within the broad parameters of the organisation.

The Role

Support the development of the E-Trading and E-Commerce platforms

Maintain and support the online platform, and onboard suppliers and members

Demonstrate and promote the platform to members and suppliers

Work with trading partners to increase usage of the platform

Analyse and report on data

Work independently and as part of a team on key departmental projects & initiatives

Work closely with other departments within the business to increase exposure of the platform

Support the E-Commerce Manager as required

Any other duties deemed appropriate in conjunction with this role

The Candidate

You will be a Marketing/Business Management graduate, or previous experience in Marketing or E-commerce and you will be driven to progress your career within an E-commerce environment as well as:

Proficient in Microsoft Office e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Experience with E-Commerce systems and platforms

Possess an aptitude for analysing data and information

Capable of working under pressure to meet necessary deadlines and initiatives.

The ability to function independently and be a good decision-maker

The ability to demonstrate planning and organisational skills

The ability to interface and relate to people from differing backgrounds and status

The ability to deliver results from objective driven activities, both individually and for the team

Bring new ideas and initiatives to the department

Willingness to accept constructive criticism and handle pressure in a professional manner

Customer focused

Keen to learn new skills and develop themselves to the highest level

Willingness to work remotely and independently and be flexible to work outside of contracted hours if needed

Highly self-motivated and dynamic with a positive attitude

Have a good eye for detail, fast thinking, and a problem solver
