What will the apprentice be doing?
You will support our Forecoast Marine data science team in undertaking detailed data analysis studies for climate adaptation and wider metocean services. As well as supporting the development of cutting edge software to simulate, forecast and optimise operations in the following sectors:
Within the team and wider System Software and Data group you will work with a wide range of clients.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The Degree Apprenticeship follows the pathways across the following clusters:
All taught modules are delivered by York St John University via day release-teaching from September 2021.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship you will achieve a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon completion of your apprenticeship you may be able to work towards becoming a chartered professional.

Typical entry requirements for A-Level school leavers are BBC or 112 UCAS points. A Level Maths (or equivalent) desirable, but not essential.
