This is a demanding role with progression opportunities for the right person.

It will predominantly involve working with residents and meeting their daily living needs, while motivating and supervising others in the team and contributing to the smooth running of the home.

It will also involve contributing to care planning, risk assessments, supervisions and quality assurance.

As a senior carer we expect:
  • A sound knowledge of safeguarding, capacity, medication and leadership responsibilities
  • The ability to delegate
  • Excellent time management skills
  • The ability to provide an example to others in their own behaviour and manner, working well with all departments in the home to better the lived experience for all

Desired qualifications

GCSE English andmaths grade C / 4 or above (or equivalent qualifications) desirable.
