A fantastic opportunity to join an experienced and dedicated team where you will be learning new skills and grow. This role is an excellent for an aspiring Helpdesk Support / 1st Line Support Engineer / IT Technician who is looking to progress within the IT field.

Throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of PETA training centres for off-the- job training. The majority of training will be completed with your employer at your place of work. You will be completing Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship along with the following qualifications:

Microsoft (MTA) Networking Fundamentals
Microsoft (MTA) Mobility and device Fundamentals
Microsoft (MTA) Server Admin
Microsoft (MTA) Software development Fundamentals
ITIL Foundation V4You will be providing IT telephone, online and onsite first line support, logging and administration of support calls on the IT helpdesk, resolving issues where possible and escalating as necessary.

Ensure the IT Helpdesk is kept up to date, all calls are being responded to and users are kept up to date
Raise calls on behalf of users on the IT helpdesk
Answer inbound calls from users on the IT support phone line
Setting up and installing laptops, PCs and mobile devices
Assist with end user IT training
Maintain appropriate records of time spent and actions taken on all work carried out
Liaise with third parties for escalated support issues
Perform PC hardware and software diagnostics and coordinate repairsEssential Skills

4 GCSEs at grade C / 4 or higher including Maths and English (or equivalent)Experience of:

Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System
Microsoft Office Applications
Desktop PC and Laptop Hardware
General understanding of network and wireless technology
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good time and task management skills
Excellent customer service skills
Anti-Virus Technologies
