About the apprenticeship
Duties
1st Year: Attend college completing PEO Level 2 qualification.
Working in the Factory training school under supervision learning to use Lathes, milling M/c's, and bench fitting.
Yrs 2/3 : Attend college to complete a L3 Engineering qualification. Work in the training school under supervision learning advanced Turning, Milling. Also surface and universal grinding, CNC programming and CNC wire cutting and milling.
Working on sections around the factory to gain experience of the business whilst completing NVQ apprentice framework element of your training.
Additional information
We would prefer applicants to have hobbies that have some engineering link, that they are able to talk about or demonstrate at interview
