Engagement and Welfare Assistant

Full time (37 hours) term time only
Grade 4A/B GBP17,661 - GBP17,972 (pro-rata)
From 1 September 2018

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person with good interpersonal skills and a high level of personal drive and energy to work within Learning Provision at Workington Academy. This important post will support all students with attendance, health, welfare and engagement issues.

You will be self-motivated and exceptionally well organised. The ability to work independently and with initiative is essential, as are the skills required to be a successful team player in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have an excellent telephone manner, an aptitude for working under pressure and an appreciation of confidentiality.

Experience with MS Office and a knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage.
The successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure Check.
