Got a good grasp of electronic engineering and technology? This flexible Apprenticeship can open the door to a range of Dstl careers. Learning vital skills within an internationally recognised team, you'll gain qualifications as you help to protect the UK.
With this structured training programme, you'll divide your time between the classroom and an engineering or electronic workshop. Through academic learning and practical, hands-on work, you'll build expertise in electronics, fault finding, equipment testing, mechanical manufacturing, RF (Radio Frequency) Fundamentals, Micro Controllers, and Coding & Programming.
Year 1 - College Full time
Year 2 - Placements plus day release
Year 3 & 4 - Full-time placements leading to End Point Assessment
You will need to be responsible for your development through Independent Learning to realise your full potential.
We will encourage you to demonstrate dedication and engagement during the apprenticeship programme to our organisation and training partner.
You will need to have at least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4 or above including Maths to join this apprenticeship.
