This is a development role and as such the role and the responsibilities will grow with you.

Within the role you will:

Work with the Cyber Security Operations (CSOC) team to monitor, detect and respond to any incidents within Telent
Monitor events within the Telent estate in a timely and accurate manner
Need to clearly communicate any incident issues
Need to follow and comply with Telent processes
Be responsible for initial triage, investigation and incident response
Be part of a team dedicated to analysing for defensive and potentially offensive activities
Need to ensure all investigative activity is recorded and documented in the ticketing systems and ensure it is followed up by the relevant supporting teams
Work on and build ICT solutions to protect and support the Telent projects and functions
Learn and develop the skills and behaviours needed to become an integral part of the team
Help identify security risks and prevent future issues
Support telent's future accreditations and certification activities

The Specifics:

The apprenticeship starts in September 2021 and is 2 years in duration
On completion of the scheme you will have a Level 4 qualification as a Cyber Intrusion Analyst
The apprenticeship is based from the Telent Head office in Warwick
We work alongside our provider GK to provide the best and most specific apprenticeship possible

What will you need?

To qualify for this Level 4 apprenticeship with Telent you must meet the below requirements:

Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs grades 9 to 4. Specifically, in Maths, English and an IT related subject (A* to C)
2 A-levels with a minimum grade C achieved or predicted
To have a Full UK driving licence would be beneficial
Be 18 years of age from September 2021
Be able to pass government vetting and police Security ClearanceDo you have what it takes??
