OUR TRUST VALUES

Our Trust is a great place to work and we are keen to ensure that all our employees have the right values in order that we can provide the best service to our patients. These values are very important to us, and as a potential candidate you should be made aware that we test for these throughout the whole assessment/recruitment and selection process, and will only interview and recruit individuals who demonstrate these values through their application and behaviour.

Details of our Values can be found on our website link 'Working together for outstanding care - our vision'

We are pleased to announce this exciting opportunity to be part of the Learning and Development team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Nurse or AHP to lead our Apprenticeship team; supporting apprentices and managers to gain clinical apprenticeship qualifications across the Trust in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

We are seeking an experienced registrant with good knowledge of apprenticeships and national education policy in healthcare, and recent experience in facilitating learners to reach their full potential. The successful applicant will be responsible for building relationships with HEIs, in order to deliver the goals of the organisation, as well as working across the STP with colleagues in the apprenticeship hub.

We have successfully delivered large cohorts of Nursing Associate apprentices to the workforce, and due to the increasing apprenticeship agenda, we are seeking to continue to develop this, and other apprenticeship opportunities within the Trust.

In addition to providing educational leadership, your role will also involve policy development, offering advice and support to wards and clinical areas, and the operational management of the apprenticeship team.

The hours of the post will be predominately Monday-Friday 8.30-4.30; due to current Covid restrictions an element of working from home will be expected, however you will be well supported by existing team members and positive team dynamic; normally the working base will be in Kings Court, Worcester.

You will have to travel across the Counties to provide education support at various training venues, as well as travel to hospital sites in order to support apprentices, practice assessors and managers.

For further information on the post please contact:

Ally Middleton, Head of Education and Clinical Development on Alexandra.Middleton@nhs.net
