The third largest provider of specialist Services in the NHS, MFT is a forward thinking Academic Science Centre at the heart of Health Innovation and to replicate our status, we're excited to be recruiting a Tutor/Assessor within the Apprenticeship team to support the continuous implementation of high quality internal delivery of our healthcare apprenticeship programmes (Levels 2 & 3), whilst guiding the Workforce and OD Department in delivering apprenticeship education, training and development of the Apprenticeship Programmes for all relevant staff groups. Would consider for this role a trainee assessor, someone who does not hold an assessors award but willing to work towards in the first 6 months.

As the Tutor/ Assessor to a caseload of Healthcare Apprentices (Employees within the Trust) you'll be a natural Mentor and role model to the Apprentices and ensure the delivery of education and training to support evidenced based care across the workforce teams is second to none. learner caseloads vary between 30-45, dependent on experience. Both motivated and compassionate, you will contribute to the improvement of standards of care, maintain contract compliance against the Education and Skills Funding Agencies rules, ensuring that the delivery is compliant with the academic and vocational standards prescribed by the awarding bodies/ supporting Ofsted and all other external inspections.

In addition, you'll bring your amazing project management skills and an ability to think conceptually and 'outside the box' challenging 'what' we do and 'why'. With skilful tact and diplomacy, you'll be confident in positively challenging colleagues and will use an enthused yet meticulous style to deliver a challenging agenda.
