Consultant in Breast Radiology

(FULL TIME, 10 PAs)

Applications are invited for a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Breast for North Bristol NHS Trust.

Please note that this role attracts a Recruitment and Retention Premia of £15k over 3 years.

Breast Care Centre

The Bristol Breast Care Centre offers a full digital screening and symptomatic service as well as Breast MR for the screening and symptomatic services, including high risk woman as per the NHSBSP and NICE guidelines. This is the largest screening service in the South West with an eligible screening population of almost 170,000 women.

The candidate will be supporting both the screening and symptomatic services and should demonstrate recent experience in breast imaging within the NHSBSP, be skilful interpreting and performing screening and symptomatic mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsies and wire localisations. The candidate will be expected to engage in teaching and audit activities within the department.
