An excellent opportunity for a self-starter with a get-up-and-go attitude to become part of an innovative, entrepreneurial, and fast-growing boutique financial software provider to some of the largest global financial institutions.

The nature of our clients' work is Securities Finance. You will be exposed to a variety of institutions such as Investment Banks, Custody Banks, Asset Management and Hedge Funds who participate across different areas of finance, such as securities lending, repo, prime brokerage, corporate actions and collateral management.

The Apprentice will gain a sound understanding of the Financial Services regulatory framework and understand the importance of this for our clients. This will be key as they must apply relevant rules and principles within the work undertaken. They will learn about investment products, instruments, currencies and markets, including derivative instruments and complex products used by clients and understand how an investment instrument or product is typically used within the industry and how it may meet specified client objectives.

Join our software company as a Trainee Business Analyst with full responsibilities for dedicated tasks from day one. As atrainee, you will play a keyrolesupporting seniorbusiness analystsas they optimise the effectiveness of our product through change. You will be helping to identify areas in which change will add value and assessing its potential impacts.

In addition to the exciting challenges from your day-to-day role, you will also receive external training on a variety of topics to set you up for success.

Desired qualifications

A levels (level 3) 112 Ucas points ( B,B,C grades ) or Btec level 3 extended diploma in computer science ( D,M,M) or a level 3 apprenticeship in IT related occupation.

Plus GCSE or equivalent qualifications (Level 2) in English and maths - A*-B or 9-6. Before taking their end-point assessment, allapprentices on apprenticeships at level 3 and above must achieve Level 2 English and maths. Apprentices with these qualifications may complete them at the university while on the apprenticeship.

Future prospects

Subject to performance reviews during the apprenticeship, this role will result in a permanent role with the team as a Business Analyst.
