This Apprenticeship is a 30-36-month programme where you will be provided on the job training and a highly competitive study support package for the CII qualification. You will be fully supported by Willis Towers Watson and our official government approved Training Provider throughout the duration of the programme.

Your application will be considered for one of the following teams:

Aerospace:

The Aerospace team is a specialist team within Willis Towers Watson focusing on Global Airline, Aerospace and General Aviation risks. This role is within the General Aviation and Aerospace team which place insurance solutions for Corporate Jet and Fleet management companies; Private Jet owners; Airports, aviation products manufacturers to name but a few.

Broking:

GB Broking comprises of our Broking Data & Technology strategy as well as our Structured Solutions business and Strategic Insurer Management and Relationship teams. GB Broking work with Broking leaders from every business unit including Specialty, Wholesale and Retail to develop and execute a consistent Broking strategy for today and the market of the future.

Corporate Risk & Broking (CRB) Marketing:

The GB CRB Marketing team works closely with different business units across the GB CRB segment to create marketing strategies that will support global sales growth, building plans and managing innovative campaigns that promote our products and solutions to our clients. This role will support the wider marketing team executing these activities.

Financial Lines:

The financial lines business is recruiting into two different areas. The FINEX team is the specialist team focussing on providing specialist advice and placing Directors & Officers Liability, Professional Indemnity, Pension Trustee Liability, Prospectus Liability, Crime and Cyber Insurance. We work with a diverse range of clients, from global conglomerates and government institutions to regional practices and SME's.

The Financial Solutions team is one of the leading transactional brokers in the Credit, Political Risk and Terrorism insurance markets. We create value for corporates, banks, export credit agencies and traders by providing balance sheet protection; improved returns on individual transactions and relief of country and counterparty aggregation limits.

GB Management - Strategy:

The GB management function works with the 9 business areas as well as supporting & enabling business areas such as Sales & Marketing and Broking in delivering projects and initiatives to support at line of business level and our wider Corporate Risk & Broking segment GB population.

Marine:

Willis Towers Watson is one of the oldest brokers in marine insurance having commenced its operations in 1828 and remains at the forefront of the marine industry today. Our Global Marine structure is designed to best serve our clients locally, with a Global placement strategy to access competitive terms and conditions. This integrated approach is backed by decades of knowledge allowing us to offer global expertise through any point of contact at a local level, no matter where the marine risk may be.

Property & Casualty (P&C):

The P&C business place bespoke insurance and reinsurance solutions for our diverse client base, ranging from large global corporate clients, to Small and Medium sized Enterprise (SME) and new start-ups. P&C split into two areas: Wholesale (Construction: civil, industrial, residential; Energy: oil & gas upstream and downstream, power, utilities, mining, metals) and Retail (Leisure & hospitality, real estate, healthcare, public sector, education; Retail & distribution, manufacturing, business services).

Both teams help our clients reduce the cost of risk in their business, providing financial, legislative and societal solutions to achieve their goals. As well as protecting our clients' people, assets and liabilities, providing financial strength and outstanding claims service after unexpected events, such as natural catastrophes and personal injury.

Special Contingency Risks (SCR):

SCR is the specialist team within Willis Towers Watson focusing on People Risks (Kidnap & Ransom (Special Risks), Accident & Health and Emergency Evacuation). SCR supports clients in managing the safety and security of their employees, uniquely combining insurance advice/expertise with risk advisory and crisis support services. The SCR business is recruiting into two different teams: The Special Risks team is a leading kidnap-for-ransom and piracy practice that works with a wide range of clients, from international and non-governmental organisations to privately held companies and family offices, operating in high-risk locations and industries, and complex environments.
