An exciting opportunity has opened up within Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (Somerset CCG) for a Band 2 Business Administrator.

Joining the Women's and Children's team, the successful applicant will provide a comprehensive and professional administrative support service including the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets to support the management of the team.

Key responsibilities will include the organisation of internal and external meetings, conferences and multi-organisational events. The postholder will also be required to produce papers and other documents for these meetings.

This post requires someone who can work to deadlines and is able to communicate effectively with a wide range of key stakeholders and service providers both over the telephone and face to face providing non-clinical advice and information when required.

The ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independently is pivotal to the success of this post as is the ability to recognise the need to refer to others for support and guidance when required.

This post is based at NHS Somerset CCG HQ - Wynford House, Lufton Way, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8HR. However, due to the current Covid-19 pandemic status, all Somerset CCG staff are working from home. It is anticipated that all staff will return to working from Wynford House (either partially or fully) once it is safe to do so.

This is a part-time, fixed term post of 25 hours per week for 6 months initially (in accordance with the Department for Work and Pensions Kickstart scheme).
