Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (Somerset CCG) is looking to recruit a self-motivated and responsible individual, with a demonstrable knowledge and experience of working in risk management.

You should have a good level of experience in, and have a thorough understanding of risk management approaches and practices as you will be integral to delivery of risk management within the CCG.

Working with the Head of Information Governance and Risk and supported by a Risk and IG Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for operational delivery of our risk management policy and processes to ensure that we build a culture of awareness of the importance of risk management, and will be required to deliver risk management practice training as necessary to colleagues.

You will have a sound knowledge of assurance frameworks as you will be required to further develop, implement and maintain our Governing Body assurance framework.

This role sits within the Information Governance and Risk team within the wider Corporate Business team, and you will become an important part of this small team delivering specialist risk advice to colleagues within Somerset CCG, and as we are an authorised Integrated Care System, where necessary working with our wider system colleagues.

Applicants should be excellent communicators, and be able to work with a wide range of health and care colleagues and have a thorough understanding of good governance.

This post is based at NHS Somerset CCG HQ - Wynford House, Lufton Way, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8HR. Currently the role will be carried out remotely from home due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation.

This is a permanent post and we are offering flexibility of between 30 and 37.5 hours per week for the successful applicant.
