Based remotely but required to work agilely. Some travel across the STP geography may be required.

As we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic we are looking to widen our offer of mental health support to staff working within the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough health and care system. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced project lead to be part of a new project to develop a Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing Support Hub and be involved in the mobilisation and delivery of this service across the whole of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. This project will complement the important work that is happening at a system-level to develop a long-term health and wellbeing strategy for our workforce.

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub Project Lead will work closely with the workstream SRO, clinical leads, and responsible Directors in the delivery of the stated objectives of the project. The purpose of the Project Lead role is to provide strong project managerial leadership to the project and form a co-operative engagement with key stakeholders across the health and care system, for example to ensure optimum outreach and engagement with all staff working in primary care, social care and third sector.

This role will be challenging, working across a complex suite of related programmes and organisations. It will require the ability to act and think strategically, collaboratively problem-solve and manage complex stakeholders.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate sound leadership, credible and in-depth experience of working within programmes and projects ideally within the NHS and part of major change programmes. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills are essential for the role, along with strong analytical and analysis skills. The role will involve liaising with internal and external senior stakeholders and working across organisation and sector boundaries.
