We are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Joiner to join our team in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria
Hours: 07.30 - 16.30 Monday to Friday
Job Purpose:
You will be reasonably expected to attend and complete relevant NVQ / Training as
depicted by your Line Manager. Whilst on site you will be expected to carry out any
reasonable labourer task request. You will work towards having the knowledge and
building the skills needed to carry out your trade specific tasks. You will gain knowledge
and awareness of resource management, customer service, communication skills, health
and safety and quality. The need for a sensible, flexible and customer focussed attitude is
vital.
Studying (or have qualifications) in Maths, English and a Science or craft based
subject to a minimum grade C
Articulate, numerate and IT literate
Reasonable understanding of FM and Building Services Engineering
Be able to demonstrate the ability to identify health and safety and environmental issues
Have good communication skills
Be resilient under pressure and be able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers and customers at all levels
