Harvey Nash are helping our client, a large Not for Profit Organisation based in Newcastle upon Tyne to recruit Scheme Manager to lead the development and delivery of a new scheme creating work experience opportunities, which will form part of a proactive, high quality professional Human Resources service.
Reporting to the HR Manager you will be responsible for:
Leading the development and implementation of a framework for meaningful work opportunities and internships adhering to HR procedures
Work alongside Finance to ensure allocation of funds to support the placements
Facilitate discussions to identify meaningful placement opportunities
Lead on the launch of the placement scheme scheduled to go live in summer 2021
Establish processes and systems to monitor progress and capture data to monitor success and suggest improvements.
Coordinate all recruitment, selection and onboarding activity for the internships
Identify and recommend future development opportunities
The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder management skills, be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and have some experience of recruiting / internships/ placements etc.
Whilst this is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract , there is a string likelihood that this role will continue afterwards
