This apprenticeship can count as the first year of a full degree and Bridgwater and Taunton College is looking to provide an opportunity for successful candidates to progress to the College's BSc Sports Science and Coaching degree.
- Understand how pupils learn and develop.
- Work with teachers to understand and support assessments for learning.
- Work closely with teachers to ensure own contribution aligns with their teaching practices.
- Help with developing working strategies for support activities.
- Effectively support teaching staff to deliver the best possible education to pupils.
- Assist in the preparation of resources.
- Help develop positive relationships and act as a role model to others at all times.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents and work colleagues. Ensure the provision of a high quality teaching environment to meet the needs of a individual pupil.
- Ensure good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
- Support Sports Coaching Team with curriculum delivery
