The Role:
We are looking for a Digital Marketing apprentice to support with the building and updating of a new product specific website, and our main E-commerce website.

Duties will include:
As well as opening a new tile showroom the business has also sourced an innovative new product from Spain and has secured exclusive distribution rights to supply this in the UK. Your job would be assisting to build and update this product specific website as well as the main Trimtraders E-commerce website. Typical activities could include:
  • Working with the Sales & IT manager, building, creating and managing the websites to ensure the content is fresh, regularly updated, and relevant to our target consumer
  • Writing product descriptions and copy for the website and various promotional material
  • Organising SEO and Adword campaigns to help promote the website and increase reach
  • Using social media to help promote the new product, drive traffic to the website and increase brand awareness
  • Keeping up to date with industry news and trends to make sure the company offers a market leading service
  • Creating high level marketing campaigns to promote products, using digital and in-person initiatives
  • Creating marketing material for the tile showroom to increase awareness and drive customers
  • Update regular reports, complete necessary admin, undertake analysis of events, marketing campaigns and activities in order to make recommendations for improvements
  • Working with the Sales and Marketing team to help create an overall marketing strategy

The Person:

  • Creative, able to come up with new ideas and strategies to help boost the company's reach
  • Excellent at written communication, able to understand the mind of the end reader and help to convey company messages accordingly
  • Able to use and manage various Social Media platforms, such as Facebook, twitter and LinkedIn
  • Focussed, with high attention to detail, able to spot mistakes and suggest corrections
  • Highly organised, with an ability to work to deadlines, and to plan and prioritise short and long-term tasks effectively.
  • Able to work independently and stay motivated and keep on top of a changing workload
  • A good sense of humour and a proactive, hands on, positive attitude
Skills Required:

  • GCSE grades A*-C / 9-4in maths and English (or equivalent)

The successful candidate will study a Level 3 Digital Marketer. This will be aided by an assessor who will carry out all assessments as work-based learning within the workplace.

Working Hours and Wage:
40 Hours Per Week. Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 5.00 pm with one hour for breaks
£5 per hour
£200 per week
