The Older Persons Mental Health Team (OPMH) is looking for a Community Services Co-ordinator.

This is a permanent post in a multi-disciplinary co-located Health and Social Care Team which has an excellent reputation for service provision to older people with mental health problems and their carers.

Ideally, applicants will have some experience and knowledge of working with older people and /or mental health difficulties. Experience and /or knowledge of working with confidential information is essential for this role. Ideally they would also have previous knowledge and /or experience of working within an office administration/customer services environment. An understanding or experience of health and social care administration processes would also be an advantage.

It would also be an advantage if you had some knowledge or understanding of mental health and wellbeing and how these can impact upon the individuals and their carers.

Excellent communication, and organisational, skills are required to work with our busy multi-disciplinary team, service users and carers. Good keyboard skills, word processing and Microsoft Excel or equivalent knowledge is also required for this role.
