PLEASE NOTE THIS VACANCY IS FOR POSTS IN PENRITH AND HEXHAM

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exemplary, high quality registered professional to support the delivery of a vaccine for Covid-19 across the North East and North Cumbria. This programme of work will be the biggest immunisation programme of our time and will be both challenging and rewarding. You will be responsible for providing direct line management to a large team of vaccinators in a fixed mass vaccination site. The successful candidate will provide co-ordination, clinical support and direction to the team on a daily basis both to ensure high standards of clinical application, adherence to local and national guidance and keeping the programme in line with target trajectories for delivery.

You will be someone who is able to work on your own initiative, meet tight deadlines and will need to hold good analytical skills. In addition, you will need to be able to undertake sound decision making when faced with changing clinical situations. Appropriate training and supervision will be provided to ensure you flourish in your role

Essential Requirements

· 1st level Registered Nurse or appropriate Allied Health professional

· Educated to degree level or equivalent experience

· Demonstrable clinical experience

· Ability to prioritise own workload

· Able to work as an effective and responsible team member

· Ability to evaluate own and others contribution to delivering quality care and health promotion to patients, taking appropriate action to improve the patient experience.

· Experience in team management.

· Able to contribute to the setting and maintenance of measurable standards within clinical practice.

· Supervisory experience of junior staff
