Main role and responsibilities:
This role is highly technical and will involve many different applications and technologies.
You will be involved in the following:
  • Design and maintenance of various infrastructure projects
  • Networking, Administration, Maintenance
  • Configuration of servers, workstations and other network devices

This role will involve a substantial focus on tasks and duties arising from ISO27001 information security best practice, policies, and procedures.

Desired skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft solutions and technologies
  • An awareness/understanding of other operating systems
  • An excellent understanding of MS Office applications
  • A good understanding of TCP/IP
  • A good understanding of DNS
  • Familiarity with firewalls and load balancing technologies
  • Able to interpret, record information and data accurately
  • Excellent Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work alone without close supervision
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Methodical approach to tasks

  • Enthusiasm for IT and technologies such as cloud services

  • Self-motivated


Desired qualifications

  • An A Level in ICT / An International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in ICT
  • A Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • A BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)
  • or equivalents


Future prospects

You'll gain a full-time position if you successfully complete the apprenticeship.
