An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated registered nurse, with a broad range of clinical experience to support the Infection Prevention and Control / Physical Health Team for a 12 month fixed term contract or 12 month secondment. You will be expected to work collaboratively and co-operatively with all Trust staff and external service providers to ensure the quality of services and the quality of care delivered to support the Infection Prevention & Control and Physical Health Team in all aspects of the work programme including the monitoring of infection prevention & control standards and physical health, delivering evidence based training and disseminating audit / surveillance results and supporting service users.

In addition you will also support he promotions of Physical Health in Mental Health, Training and Quality Improvement agenda, participating in the development of action plans that promote change and/or improvement in practice.

Another key aspect of the role will be to support the Team in delivering the Trusts vaccination program over the winter period. Experience and knowledge of vaccinations is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
