Business Administration Apprentice (Procurement)

PETA are working with an IT services business to recruit a positive, friendly, and enthusiastic Business Administration Apprentice to join their procurement team.
Your new apprenticeship
Joining the procurement team as a Business Administration Apprentice, you will learn to support with a wide variety of administrative tasks.
As you develop in your position, you will take on responsibilities including:
- Accepting and checking in stock on spreadsheets
- Processing basic quote including renewals
- Chasing purchase orders with schools
- Inputting accurate data on to the in-house CRM system
- Answering the phone, taking messages & dealing with sales calls
What training will I be offered?
This position is offered as an apprenticeship and you will be completing a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. You will be employed directly by the client but be supported every step of the way by PETA.
Most of your training will be completed with your employer at your place of work, however, throughout the duration of the apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of our PETA training centres for off the job training.
You will regularly be visited by a PETA Learning and Development coach to assess your progress who will be able to offer help and advice to ensure the successful completion of your qualification.

To be considered for the Business Administration Apprentice role, in the procurement team, you will have a willingness to complete their apprenticeship and grasp the opportunity to progress into a full-time role with a keen interested in IT and technology. You must be competent in IT and have confidence using Microsoft Office. You will need to be:
- Strong customer service focus
- Good negotiation and listening skills
