ARE YOU A PASSIONATE AND EXPERIENCED NURSE EDUCATOR WITH A SUBSTANTIVE POST AS A PRACTICE NURSE OR NURSE PRACTITIONER?

If so, you may be ideal for a part time post (24 hours per week) in our team as a senior and experienced Practice Nurse educator working in GENERAL PRACTICE settings in Tower Hamlets as a Clinical Tutor!

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior Practice Nurse who is seeking to develop or consolidate skills as a Clinical Tutor. You will be delivering specialist tuition for Practice Nurse trainees in the clinical setting and delivering group teaching in areas such as clinical skills and the Care Certificate training.

The successful candidate will join the Open Doors team which has been leading the way in providing and facilitating educational opportunities for Nurses and HCAs in General Practice since 2008.

The post holder would work closely with Tower Hamlets Training Hub (known as the CEPN) and in partnership with other local training hubs. There is an increasing demand for educational support as new roles develop in Primary Care such as apprenticeships to Nursing.

The successful applicant will have a strong history of personal development and specialist training in areas specific to General Practice settings such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, women's health and immunisations as well as evidence of an interest in supporting junior colleagues and other team members in professional development.
