What will the apprentice be doing?
We hope to employ a Civil Engineer Degree Apprentice to join our growing team in Sussex. You'll learn vital work-based skills in Civil Engineering within the Highways industry and enjoy a varied role in groundworks, civils & surfacing projects covering a range of projects in East & West Sussex. You will get a wide range of insight and experience in the planning and overseeing of construction projects.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Fully funded Level 6 Civil Engineering Degree Apprenticeship at Brighton University
Structured training programme
Executive management mentoring, support & regular reviews
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Employment opportunity with Hailsham Roadways as a Civil Engineer.
With incorporated or chartered engineer status, you could move into senior project management roles. You could also specialise in a particular engineering field, work in research or become a consultant.
