Key tasks, responsibilities and challenges of the role:
  • Collating Cockpit Chart data for presentation by Head of HR for sia UK at both local and national level. Data related to various KPI's such as absence, occupational health and staff fluctuation
  • Update the Time and Attendance System; Tensor, and improve its functionality to help monitor KPI's and other statistics more effectively. This includes: overtime, holidays and employee attendance
  • Produce reports for other business functions such as HSE and Manufacturing
  • Improve Web Based Training and Occupational Health KPI's
  • Liaise with Occupational Health to organise appointments and documentation
  • Lead the Intern Group on different projects; Charity events, improving HSE within the workplace and communication topics such as: weekly employee bulletins
  • Responsible for informing relevant associates of new starters: IT, Payroll, Training. Carry out new starter tasks such as: DBS Checks, inductions, assessing training needs and adding to different systems
  • Lead the Intern Recruitment Campaign for 3 sia sites. Create job adverts, liaise with Universities, organise and conduct interviews and testing, and assist with producing contracts of employment
  • Organise customer and internal associate visit schedules in line with internal procedures
  • Gain insights into all aspects of HR such as; payroll, employee relations and employee development

  • IT literate; able to analyse data

Desired qualifications

  • 'A' Level or equivalent in any subject, Grade C or above
  • Business Administration is desirable
  • Level 2 Functional Skills orGCSE A*-C/9-4 or equivalents Maths & English is required prior to starting the apprenticeship
