An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Theatre Department for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated orthopaedic and or spinal scrub practitioner to join our friendly, dynamic, hard-working team. The Woodland Hospital is the busiest provider of joint replacements in the county, the pace is fast, but we can offer you a friendly and supportive environment.

This is a great opportunity to get on board as we develop both orthopaedic and spinal service. It's not just the service we are developing in the last few years we have sent our team to the London Hip and Knee meeting, AfPP conference, ZimmerBiomet Symposiums, surgical first assistant course and more. You will be supported by a proactive and forward-thinking Leadership team and have access to a dedicated theatre education and development lead.

About us

Woodland Hospital in Kettering has 23 en-suite inpatients beds, 12 Day Case Bays, 7 Day Case en-suite beds, 4 laminar flow theatres, 1 Endoscopy Suite (JAG accredited) and Minor Procedure Room. Our diagnostics services include 12 Consulting Rooms with a further 6 Consulting rooms at our offsite Woodland Grange Outpatients (due to open end of December), Covid Swabbing Centre, Physiotherapy Department, Pharmacy Department, Radiology Department - Xray, Ultrasound, Echo, Audiology, MRI and CT Van - 6 days per week. We have embraced the Enhanced Recovery Programme (ERP) and made significant length of stay reductions with improved patient related outcomes measures (PROMS). All of our Admin functions are carried out in-house.
