Apprenticeship summary Working week

  • Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 4.45pm and Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm Total hours per week: 37.50

Weekly wage

  • £180.00

Expected duration

  • 13 months

Vacancy description

Duties will include:

  • Working with & supporting the team
  • Administrative duties as necessary
  • Liaising with clients of all ages and grades
  • Handling of customer support enquiries on the telephone, helpdesk and through email
  • Working towards technical accreditations
  • Project management and working within strict deadlines
  • Evaluating new technologies
  • Deployment of technical IT proposals, this could include Microsoft deployments or virtualisation proposals
  • Working with consultants to implement highly complex technical requirements for clients
  • Working towards building skills and knowledge around networking, firewalls and routing protocols
  • Working towards building skills and knowledge around the Microsoft portfolio and virtualisation technologies
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Project and Outlook and other software packages including Sims

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week)
