Supporting the full range of electrical and scenic services across the entire range of output, you’ll help to ensure the most effective use of studio, technical and craft facilities to meet customer requirements.

As part of your trainee scheme you will also have the opportunity to rotate through the different operator roles to get an awareness of the key skills required in live news broadcasting (i.e. sound, vision, lighting) so you can gain an understanding of the workflows and roles, and have some practical learning in these areas.

You’ll also spend time with our Studio Services Technicians using your Electrician qualification to set up technical equipment in the big news studios and other technical areas.
