What will the apprentice be doing?
Our Engineers are responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of systems in new and existing buildings, such as heating, lighting, water supplies, plumbing, control systems and fire, security and alarm systems
Working with our busy Mechanical & Electrical Engineers on a variety of projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a real interest in improving the built environment to help support the growth of our business. Our experienced engineers are responsible for ensuring that buildings are safe and comfortable whilst minimizing the environmental impact of a building.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will attend a local college one day per week during term time and spend four days per week in the office working with experienced engineers.
This is a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship. On completion the apprentice will gain a BSc or BEng building services degree which is accredited by the relevant professional engineering institution.
A Building Services Design Engineer will know the different techniques and methods used to design building engineering services projects.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon completion of the Level 6 Apprenticeship you will have fully satisfied the requirements for registration as an Incorporated Engineer by the relevant professional engineering institution.
