What will the apprentice be doing?
You will be travelling within the Blackburn and Darwen area of Lancashire on a daily basis in order to deliver therapy programmes within patient's homes, care homes and the community setting.
You will be carrying out specific delegated clinical and care tasks and responsibilities to a high standard and competency under the direction and supervision of a registered care professional.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The apprentice will undertake the Level 5 Assistant Practitioner Apprenticeship with the University of Lancashire.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On completion of the apprenticeship you will be automatically guaranteed a band 4 Assistant Practioner role within the trust. This however is not guaranteed to be within the same service you completed your apprenticeship on.
