What will the apprentice be doing?
This is a rare opportunity to join the Environmental Health Service at Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council as a Regulatory Compliance Apprentice and play a vital part in protecting the health and safety of the residents of our borough. Compliance duties include the investigation of nuisance complaints e.g. barking dogs, public health complaints e.g. waste accumulations, animal licence inspections and enforcements as well as animal control duties e.g. collection of stray dogs and pest control.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The Apprentice will be expected to be eligible to complete the Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer Apprenticeship, attendance at workshops, workplace support and experience will be provided to meet the course requirements.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of the apprenticeship If there are no appropriate vacancies within the council, you will be given guidance and support to identify and apply for positions in external organisations.
Apprentices will be supported to apply for future roles in the council, subject to availability.
