University of Leicester NHS Trust is looking to recruit highly motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual who will work well under pressure to carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance within an non-acute Hospital environments based in and around Leicester.
We need a flexible candidate capable of working in a busy and challenging environment.
You must possess a formal relevant City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualifications, a full and clean driving licence and evidence of an apprenticeship or continuing professional and personal development with good IT, literacy skills, with the ability to work on your own and work as part of a team to achieve shared goals.

The individual will be conversant with all aspects of electrical and/or mechanical systems in order to undertaking a range of general engineering, electrical and mechanical duties and maintenance procedures.

The role includes working in a days based role working from 0800hrs to 1600hrs Monday to Friday. The candidate will be expected to carry out overtime and out of hours on call as required to support the needs of the department.
