Safeguarding

Business Admin Apprentice

Salary: National Apprentice wage

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Base: Millennium Point

Contract: 18 months fixed term contract

The business administration apprenticeship is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to have an administrative career within the NHS.

Alongside the completion of a formal qualification, the successful applicant will gain essential experience within an admin role and for this particular post duties will include:
  • Answering the Safeguarding enquiry line
  • Collating confidential information and building case files
  • Monitoring the safeguarding email accounts
  • Filing external documents securely

    Where a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is required for the post, applicants are required to cover the cost of the check. The cost (£45 for an enhanced check or £28 for a standard or basic check) is payable to our online provider at the time that the DBS application is submitted.

    Applicants with convictions should familiarise themselves with the new DBS filtering rules which came into effect in November 2020 prior to completing their application. More information can be found on the Nacro website.
