Mastercall Healthcare is a dynamic organisation which is experiencing a period of significant growth in delivering unscheduled primary care and admission avoidance services. Driven by the requirement to develop new roles and ways of working that deliver safe, modernised, and personalised services to service users we have an exciting training opportunity for a registered healthcare professional wishing to develop the competencies of advanced practice.

Mastercall have developed a clear framework to ensure that we support clinicians to develop to their full potential in a supported environment. The Trainee ACP post is part of that framework and the successful candidates will benefit from working alongside a highly skilled multi-disciplinary workforce with medical, nursing and AHP support. We have an exciting training opportunity for a registered healthcare professional wishing to develop the competencies of advanced practice.

We are offering the successful candidate the opportunity to undertake a 2 year (part-time) fully funded placement on an 'Advanced Clinical Practice' Msc programme (Health and Social Care) via the apprenticeship route. During training you will also work clinically under the indirect supervision of Mastercall Senior Advanced Practitioners and Nurse Consultant. You will be responsible for, assessing, diagnosing, interpreting investigations, and treating patients across Mastercall services. On successful completion of training you will undertake the role of Advanced Clinical Practitioner across Mastercall Services.

Applicants will be a Registered Nurse, Midwife or Allied Health Professional with significant experience in acute or primary care (equivalent of five years post registration experience). A practitioner with a first degree, or evidence that they can study at Masters level (Level 7) would be preferred and a prescribing qualification is desirable.

This is a permanent position working between 30 - 37.5 hours per week across 7 days dependant on service needs.

Salary: £41,574 per annum pro rata
