What will the apprentice be doing?

As a degree apprentice, your role will be to develop your skills through practical experience so that you can confidently perform the duties of an Investment Assistant. You will be in a position which represents the public face of the company with its relationships with its clients and professional advisers. You will have the opportunity to continue to grow your knowledge of portfolio management theory, the investment world and the research process, and how this is applied to the company's business as a discretionary private client investment management firm.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

From the commencement of your course onwards you will spend a period of the working week (Monday - Friday) dedicated to study, and attending lectures. The remaing time will be spent working at the Bordier & Cie UK office, or remotely from home. This will allow you to apply skills you have learnt in a real-world environment.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

University results, effort, attitude and work-based achievements will be regularly reviewed with the candidate to ensure they complete the apprenticeship successfully and to the best of their ability.

At the end of the apprenticeship, an appraisal will be held to discuss a possible progression within your role.
