We are excited to launch our Nurse Degree Apprenticeship programme in partnership with the University of Sunderland. Our Registered Nursing Degree Apprenticeship programme offers the chance to gain practical work experience and build your clinical skills. You'll be supported to achieve your Nursing Degree and earn a salary - all at the same time.

After applying through the NHS website you will receive a link to the apprentice application form.

Spire Healthcare is one of the biggest private Healthcare Providers in the UK. With 39 Hospitals in our group we offer a range of services to both privately insured, self-pay and NHS patients.

Working with us means being part of our collaborative team. You'll work alongside and learn from our Registered Practitioners, Clinical Educators, Senior Clinicians and your peers, who all have vast experience in Nursing.

During your apprenticeship, our learning community will help you to develop new connections in the Healthcare sector and build your skill.

If you are just starting out or looking to retrain we know that the decision you take about which path to take is an important and often challenging decision, but it can also be an exciting one. Join us as a Spire Registered Nurse Apprentice and be inspired to earn and learn building an exceptional future with us.

We have a number of vacancies across the group and, whilst you will be working at one location for most of your apprenticeship, you will experience working across both internal and external placements to build your Nursing skills across a wide range of settings and meet the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) requirements.

You will hold maths and English GCSE A to C/ 9 to 4 or equivalent and have either: a Level 3 in Healthcare or 112 UCAS points or hold another qualification at level 3 or above in any discipline.

Depending on your qualifications, you will either spend four or five years on programme. If you are applying as a Nurse Associate or Assistant Practitioner the length of you programme will reflect your prior learning and is likely to be 2 to 3 years.

If you have no healthcare experience but have always had a passion for Nursing we would love to hear from you. It is said that you could have 3 or 4 careers in your lifetime, you could have started out in accounting, administration or hospitality for instance and find yourself transferring those skills into Healthcare. Here at Spire we know that learning never stops so, if you have always longed to train as a Nurse but found yourself working elsewhere this could be for you. Or you could be a school leaver just starting out. The possibilities are endless. For all our potential applicants, if you meet the minimum criteria, we want you to join us on this exciting career development opportunity.

Visit the Spire Website careers page for more information on the Apprenticeship Programme and to start your application.
