Data Science Degree Apprenticeship
The Data Science Professional Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship has been introduced by Ocado Group to develop highly skilled data scientists.
Ocado Group is putting the world’s retailers online using the cloud, robotics, AI, and IoT (Internet of Things). We develop the innovative software and hardware systems that power Ocado.com, the world’s largest online-only grocery retailer as well as the global ‘Ocado Smart Platform’. With everything from websites to fully autonomous warehouses that we design in-house, our employees need to be specialists in a wide range of technologies to help drive our business.
Ocado Group’s data scientists work in multi-disciplinary teams - touching all areas of the business - and use machine learning and optimisation techniques to solve tough retail problems. With over 50,000 products available on our platform, thousands of bots operating in our customer fulfilment centres and thousands of vans delivering groceries to customers – the data science team is crucial to helping us understand and deliver value.
