Perm (duration)

The main purpose of the post is

To work with and support the Facilities & Transport team and Support Services team in the management and delivery of the facilities and fleet provision for the Repairs Service and other teams within FCHO as appropriate.

To support with carrying out the day to day administration and issuing of plant and equipment for the repairs service and ensure these items are provided as requested by colleagues in a timely manner. This includes carrying out checks to ensure that all plant and equipment complies with relevant legislation and carrying out regular PAT testing of electrical equipment and checks of other plant prior to issue and taking action to ensure that any non-compliance is addressed.

To assist the Facilities & Transport team in ensuring that the Property Care Facility is effectively managed, including carrying out regular inspections and audits in line with agreed schedules and health and safety requirements and ensuring that waste is dealt with in accordance with agreed policies and procedures.

To support carrying out vehicle checks and identify any damage to vehicles or other maintenance issues whilst maintaining accurate records to assist with any appropriate action deemed necessary against staff violating policy and procedure, informing FCHO's insurance company of damage to vehicles ensuring all appropriate documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
